WHATCHU TALKIN BOUT WILLIS?

I grew up when Diff'rent Strokes was a popular television show. That's no big deal unless your last name is Willis. To this day I still hear those famous words popularized by Arnold: "Whatchu talkin bout Willis?" Usually they are uttered by someone looking at me as though I may have never heard it before. Yeah, right! Well this blog is what I (Willis) am talkin bout...my thoughts, observations & opinions. Enjoy...

I don't feel good about this...

As I type I'm listening to President Bush in the background trying to reassure Americans with his "economic rescue package." Why do I not feel so good about this? Lets' see...I thought the recent stimulus checks were supposed to whip the economy into shape. Don't misunderstand - I appreciated the extra cash, but it didn't seem to turn things around. So, here we go again. Is this more government? Yes. Is it good government? I don't think so, but I hope I'm wrong - I really do. It looks like more power for the so called "Federal Reserve" and that is never a good thing!

Fatter and fatter government spending more and more money we don't have, making bigger and bigger promises to take care of us. Sounds like the very thing we spent 40+ years trying to defeat (for lack of a better term) in the Cold War.

That government which governs best, governs least.

Its financial terrorism. We are now in the midst of Nazis because they have now officially have become National Socialists, which is what a Nazi is. Bush doesnt protect us from terrorists, he IS a terrorist---only this time, they didnt use planes, they are using our money. This is an exact replica of Nazi Germany in the 30's, only they go a little slower.

Mayer Amsched Rothchild (of the evil Rothchild family) once said this:

"Permit me to issue and control the money of the nation and I care not who makes its laws"

Ok so let me get this straight. Capitalism is a free-market. Socialism is government control. And now America is letting the govt control what business stay in the game by bailing them out??? Hmm sounds like a step towards socialism to me

William, not sure if that was sarcasm to my post or not. What do you mean by "America is 'letting' the government control what business stay in the game by bailing them out???"
