If the people of Alabama elect this nitwit in 2014 as Governor I'll be completely stunned. How does this guy remain a voice to be heard? He insults a whole group of people with impunity. He's quite the theologian too! "Not supposed to judge, blah, blah, blah"...then he judges! What a clown.

I think Barkley is exactly right about the fake Christians. When I realized I was being fake I stopped being one. Im not saying I dont believe in God anymore--but Id be lying to say I am a Christian. Id rather be honest than fake. Im not FOR gay marriage--I just dont care that it exists. Its a non-issue to me. Why is it a threat to Christians that there is gay marriage? The establishment of marriage may have been ordained by God (but thats a matter of opinion and faith---not of law) but marriage has man-made laws. Im not supporting it. Im just not condemning it. I'm not Mike Huckabee who wants to incorporate the Bible into the Constitution. He'd forgetting that whole church and state thing. Plus, he's pro-torture. Geee---wasnt Jesus tortured? Hmmmm, and yet he's FOR it. Hmmm. I have ZERO respect for McCain----talk about fake! He couldnt be more fake if he was Michael Jackson's nose! Hey Dave---I havent forgotten about sending the DVD's---Im waiting on 2 DVD's to come in the mail.
There are no doubt fake Christians. This is well supported in scripture. But this designation shouldn't be reserved for political conservatives. There are many who say "Lord, Lord" but Jesus does not know. There are many who put their hand to the plow and turn back. Broad is the road that leads to destruction and that road isn't only in the Bible Belt. Conservatives = fake Christian? Huh? Such determinations Barkley is demonstrably unable to make. It's his own hypocrisy that makes it laughable. I can't wait for his pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage campaign in Alabama! That ought to go really well...
lol---I agree, fake Christians come from all walks of life--not just from conservatives in Washington DC! ALOT of fake Christians can be found right in church. I agree with everything you said in your post. Oh by the way, I'm still pro-life!---BUT I dont feel there should be a federal law banning abortion, nor do I think it should be a law to allow abortion. The law should be state to state---not federally.
